The date is set and the call for papers is now open for this year’s Quality Improvement Scientific Symposium, an annual event that has received growing interest.
The Symposium, hosted by the Health Quality & Safety Commission, is aimed at experienced health practitioners across the health sector. It focuses on the science of health care improvement, by highlighting improvement methodology and research.
The theme for this year’s symposium is Quality connections: ready, set, grow. It focuses on highlight improvement at all three stages of development and also making connections through new knowledge and relationships to learn and grow the science of improvement in New Zealand healthcare.
The Symposium also presents an opportunity to share some of the great improvement initiatives in the aged residential care sector or the aged care sector more broadly, and to connect with colleagues across the health sector. If you have projects to share, submit abstracts for this year’s event, to showcase improvement work you have undertaken.
The symposium will take place on 5th October at Te Papa, Wellington. Please visit here for more information about the symposium.
